Private 1-1 Call Session Terms of Service

By booking a private 1-1 call session with Marlon McPherson, you agree to the following information outlined below, in addition to the general terms and conditions stated on marlonmcpherson.com.
This was prepared by Marlon McPherson, the service provider (referred to as “I” throughout this document).
This is aimed at business owners or entrepreneurs (“you”) who provide services, online programs, digital products, or similar offers, and are looking to implement a strategy, systems, or tools for their online presence and business operations.
The service is referred to as a call or session throughout this page.
Service terms
- Sessions can be used for consultation or coaching on online strategy, or systems that are outlined on the service information page or on topics otherwise agreed upon.
- Depending on the nature of the call, I will provide guidance by answering your questions, providing advice, or coaching you towards your objective.
- Any advice or information given on a call will be purely based on my knowledge, personal experience, or my own research or opinion.
- The decisions you make are solely up to you, and I take no responsibility for any losses or failures incurred, financially or otherwise, as a result of your actions or inactions.
Booking the service
Calls must be pre-booked by following the process outlined on the service information page or by following the instructions otherwise provided by me.
Typically, a call request form must be completed with the details of what you need. Your request will then be reviewed to establish whether it is a good fit for the service, and then I’ll contact you to complete the booking by choosing a date and time and making the relevant payment.
In some cases, due to limited availability, you may be asked to join a waiting list.
Service delivery
1-1 sessions are primarily delivered through a video conferencing application such as Google Meet or a similar service. This allows for screen sharing or other types of presentation.
In some cases, calls may be carried out as a voice call through WhatsApp or a similar method.
Calls are carried out for a set block of time, for example, 60 minutes, during which we can focus on 1 primary topic to stay focused and get the most out of the call.
In some cases, where possible, calls may be recorded for future referencing, note-taking, or recapping.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel a booking, I ask that you provide 48 hours’ notice by email or WhatsApp (where relevant). If payment has been made, you will be given a full refund if you provide this notice.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, a late cancellation fee is chargeable, equivalent to 20% of the session fee.
As an alternative to cancelling, you may choose to reschedule, in which case you will be given the opportunity to choose another time for your session.
You may reschedule up to 2 times, provided that you give at least 24 hours’ notice. After 2 reschedules, I reserve the right to deny future requests and withdraw the service.
No-shows
If you cannot make a call for whatever reason, please communicate this at the earliest possible opportunity. Not showing up without a good reason usually indicates a lack of commitment and is a waste of time and resources.
I understand that there may be circumstances that are beyond your control that prevent you from showing up or communicating, so I will be assessing this on a case-by-case basis to see whether or not I will provide a second chance.
Payment
Full upfront payment is required before the service is confirmed and delivered. Delaying payment may result in you losing the booking time.
You are expected to make your payment by following the instructions provided to you either directly on the service information page or in further communication. Typically, an online payment link is provided for you to pay securely using a debit or credit card, or a bank transfer may be requested in some cases.
Discovery calls – in some cases, a discovery call may be offered at no charge to further discuss your needs.
Refunds
There are no refunds on sessions that have been delivered. If there’s a situation where you are not happy with the service, I will work with you to put things right.
