Uploading large images to your website can be detrimental to your user experience and affect your SEO. This is because your web pages will load a lot slower due to the large file sizes of your images.
In this video, I demonstrate how to resize and reduce the file size of a large image to optimise it for use on the web. Affinity Photo is a great way to optimise photos before you upload them to your website.
It has a few options such as cropping and changing the pixel dimensions. I’ll be showing you how to make the necessary adjustments to your photo, and bring the file size down small enough so that it doesn’t impact your website loading speed as much.
